Sorry for not posting lately…our group went on a trip to Anvaya Cove, Bataan, Philippines (a really nice place by the way…check it out here. I am not in any way affiliated with them, although one of my colleague is).

Along the way, we were struck by several mishaps and what was supposed to be a day trip became an overnight stay. I have to leave the car there too…

It was all worth it though. The ambiance and scenery were all breathtaking. After finally reaching home, I opened the PC and guess what welcomed me? A list of unfinished tasks…And one of it is this post!

As an internet marketer, we should be effective at managing our time. Is your hard drive a disaster right now? Do you made a plan at the beginning of the year and realized that you are not at least halfway to it?

If you didn’t know, I have a lot of sites to maintain…a total of five sites including this blog. Complete list of things that need prioritization:

• My-Resources.Net – my main site. This is where all my info-products and affiliate pages are stored.
• This blog, RiczSabido.Com – where I place all my shameless plugs : )….. and share all what I know about Internet Marketing.
• Fat-Loss-101.Com – a joint venture with my girlfriend. Although both of us don’t know anything about weight loss. All articles are researched and outsourced.
• LyfCafe.Com – my group’s blog. Self-improvement niche. Really delayed though…
• My girlfriend…
• My family
• My Caring Group

There are several other things not mentioned above the list but these are the ones that I prioritize over others. The real challenge for an internet marketer is managing all these.

I can do it all, however, there are still a lot of things that I do regularly that aren’t productive (one’s that are not contributing any value towards the realization of my goals).

To be an effective internet marketer, one of our main goals should be to manage our time better. We can’t avoid it, some things will just eventually fall through. Sometimes, we just don’t accomplish certain important things and it always cost us money along the way.

My hard drive is in a mess right now. I plan to sort through all of it and get my system of organization back.

I used to be good at organizing things and managing my time, but as I added and changed a lot of things in the process, it messed up the big picture and it never found a smooth transition within. I’m buried and, I must admit, a little scattered.

There was a book that I remember reading a year ago that really gave me a sense of direction and I plan to reread it again this week. The title of the book is Getting Things Done by David Allen. I highly recommend this book if you feel lost in your online business. David shows an incredible approach on how to organize things.

This is probably one of the most useful book I’ve read about time management and the most powerful too. It gives a very simple straight-forward plan to get all the things you need to be done, organize it, and put it into a system (The same process we need as an internet marketer – automation!).

It’s really easy once you have a system in place to take care of all important tasks. And for us internet marketers, time is just as important as making money and building a business. If you’re disoriented right now, focus on rebuilding your system. Work less, Make more!

There are several reasons that contribute to why several who tried making money online failed. But it only stems from one root, they didn’t take action.

Action Breeds Success.

You won’t see any results if you don’t act on something. People never get what they want because they simply don’t act on it.

It’s easy to decide that we want to do something, but what’s more important is have you done it? You should decide to act, and act fast!

Don’t research too much on how to get there. If you spend too much time trying to find the best solution, you may never come to the part that you actually start doing it.

The truth is, the solutions that you’re looking hardly for are just around the corner. It’s all right in front of you waiting for you to notice them.

Time will come that you will realize that you already know enough to be successful online. These solutions will start popping up on your mind one by one. When that time comes, what will you do?  Where should you base your decisions?

Whatever it is, don’t freeze! Don’t get trapped. Inaction won’t get you to where you want to be…

If you want to build a list, then start building one. Do not purchase every new list building course or ebook about the subject. All of the products there will tell you that putting a big catchy opt-in form in your page and giving incentives to subscribers are the best way to build a list. You just need to do it!

Will this action give you the results you wanted? Maybe, maybe not, but it MIGHT!

Several marketers get so caught up in analyzing how to build a list that they forget to take action. Yes, you can gather as much information as you want, know all your options, and ask questions. But once you do, don’t just save and file that piece of information, pick one idea and act!

Decide to just do it!

Yes, you may fail. It may not bring you the results that you wanted. But it will give you results. You learn from that result and you will be in a better situation than you were before.

This does not mean gathering enough information is not good for your online business. You just have to know that you are on the right track when you decide. Know all your options, but once you do, start acting on it!

Waiting for a motivation won’t help you get started. You can’t wait and sit all day waiting to be motivated. Action comes first before motivation. Take action and the motivation will follow!

So analyze the problem, gather enough information, and then act on it!

Action breeds success! And success for you means making more money online!

Just do it!

Success comes from the possession of the right mindset.

Everyone of us has huge potential but it’s often largely untapped. We have the power to be great, we just need to have the right mindset.

If you have been with internet marketing for quite a time, I’m sure you know this:

“The further you dive into internet marketing, the broader and complicated it becomes.”

What makes the others different from those who fails?

They change the way they think and attained the right mindset of a true internet marketer.

Changing your mindset takes time. Never think you can’t do something. Always ask yourself. How can I do that? How can I get this? Start questioning yourself!

I’ll give you the things you need to change and a guide to follow. Just practice some of these and I’ll guarantee you that you’ll succeed in everything you plan to take on.

Attaining The Right Mindset:

1. Believe in yourself

You need to have an undying belief in yourself that will drive you to keep going when those awfully bad days come.

Disregard what other people say or think. Have a little bit of thick skin. Negative criticisms will be there and you will eventually receive messages saying harsh things about your business or products.

This kind of thing DOES get to you, but receiving this kind of emails for several times, it will be self-belief that will tell you to have confidence in your products or ideas and the determination to push through.

If you think you can do it, well you can, you just have to think you can do it. Get rid of that doubt!

2. Have A Clear Vision, Set Your Goals Straight

Figure out what you want to do. If you’re not interested in adsense, then don’t do it. If you are not interested in affiliate programs, don’t do it either. Find something that you like doing.

Be realistic with your goal. Just starting online? Then don’t expect to earn $5,000 a month in your first month. Not unless something unusual happens. You need to earn your first dollar online before you can get to $100 and before you can make $1000.

Your long term goals are very important. These goals are very big and you should break it down into smaller pieces and take on it one goal at a time.

3. Know The Why’s Of Your Vision

When you know what you really want and fully understand why you’re working towards something, that will personally motivate you.

Knowing the why’s is more important than knowing the what’s.

Is it for you loved ones? Your family? Your husband/wife? Your kids?

Take a picture of what you want to achieve and post it to a place where you can always see it.

There’s a reason why almost all the pictures on my websites are those that are with my girlfriend. Because that is my inspiration. Why am I doing internet marketing is because of her. These pictures always remind me of that.

4. Ready, Fire, Aim

Successful marketers dive into action and just aim along the way. The key to success is taking action! You don’t have to be perfect, everything can be learned along the way. Just take action! If you wait for it to be perfect, it will never happen.

Most newbies ask me these questions:

What If I’m Still Learning Things?

How long are you studying it? Don’t get caught up in the learning process.  You can learn so much but that’s not going to make you money. It’s important to learn most especially if it can be applied to your business, but taking action is far more effective than just reading!

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Mistakes can teach you what your book cannot. They can help you find what’s not working right so you can fix it.

What If I Fail?

There is no such thing as failure, everything is feedback. Look from the things that went wrong and change it.

You’ve got to take a risk. If you feel that you failed, you didn’t actually lose what you invested on it. You actually gained the best lesson you can buy – the experience and wisdom from that mistake.

Can I Start Even With Little Money Now?

You don’t always need money to start, you can leverage something else. I’m sure you’ve got a hard drive full of digital products, some may be old, some may be new, some may be that you never tried to sell before, now use those  assets. Some of those ready-made products usually comes with like a website that you can just modify and put up online.

How guilty are you of not putting those online? How many folders on your hard drive have you got with products that you bought and decided not to sell.

5. Focus On Just Building Your Business

Once you start and have your goals set, it’s hard to maintain that drive and easy to lose focus. Especially when you are on a niche like internet marketing, you will face a lot of distractions.

To be focused, you need do numbers 2 and 3. You need to know what you are doing and why you are doing it. Have a goal and break it down. (Monthly, Weekly, and even Daily)

Are you spending too much on money on quick rich schemes? If you want to build a business on the internet, you build a business on the internet. Don’t go off and give people $10, $20, $30 here and there. It is actually a business and think of it as one. Not just a hobby. If you treat it as a hobby, you will get a hobby income.

Take Action Now!

I could take all day to tell you all the things you need to change but these is all you need right now to start and build your business right.

I want you to examine your mindset. Don’t try. Try allows you to fail. It gives you the choice to back out and to fail. There’s only do and do not. Make a decision after you read this post and take action on it!

Start looking for opportunities. See what you have on your hard drive. I don’t know how many products you have, just choose any of it, start reworking it, develop your plan and establish your goals.

The choices that you make are going to be so important. Set out your goals, set out what you want to achieve.
