Getting Out Of The Newbie Stage
Being a newcomer to the world of affiliate/ internet marketing is a real handicap to most of us. A newbie can easily get lost to all the information online.
This is actually the first step that you need to get out of the newbie stage – getting to realize that you know enough.
A lot of marketers get into a trap or “loop” of buying product after product and e-course after e-course finding for the “magic” formula to riches and instant success.
A lot of these newcomers enter the world of internet marketing because they thought that this online stuff is really easy. So they start searching real hard for that easy formula. I can only think of one thing why we do this…laziness.
I should know, I’ve been there. And you will never get out of that information “loop” until that day that you realize that the formula you are searching for is never easy. And that you already know how to be successful online.
I’ve spent a few hundred dollars looking for the same “magic” formula and I know others who have spent much more than that. But I never found it. They never found it. And you will probably never find it as well.
Why? Because there isn’t one. There is an exception though, but if those come up, it will not last long. Eventually the market will become saturated with marketers running after that opportunity and what happens next? The opportunity loses its steam.
That’s why it’s so important to just go and participate in online forums or communities. Read all the free information and stuff, and from there, choose a path that is suitable for you.
Only after you are done deciding on that path that you can start buying a few products that are ONLY related to the path you chose. Never divert to that path!
After you bought a product, you need to commit to it. Don’t get easily distracted because another new product is offered, promising the next big thing. Even if it does live up to its hype, eventually it will lose its power as everyone else run to it.
FOCUS! Every marketer is going to sell you something. And all of them will also convince you that their product is the next big thing, but in the end they are all JUST SELLING SOMETHING.
It doesn’t mean that you don’t need to buy these stuffs; it’s good to buy e-courses and products, just focus on a specific path and get the work done. Don’t get sucked by the information loop by buying every new product that comes along.
I assure you, that will never stop. New products with the same promises will come out one after the other.
Know when to stop! You can easily get addicted to it. Just admit and acknowledge that problem and move on.
Take a look at what you have on your hard drive. I bet there’s a dozen of internet marketing products’ lying on your desktop. Reassess yourself and make a decision to start taking action!
Get out of that newbie stage! Start investing money into your online business and not to information products.
